Key point: the Apache 2.0 open-source license does not grant trademark rights. Official certification, official partner, or endorsement claims require written authorization.
1. Covered marks
- Agently
- AgentEra
- 智体纪元
- Agently logos, icons, and visual brand assets
2. Descriptive use allowed without separate authorization
- Truthful descriptive references, such as saying that a project uses Agently or links to the repository.
- For bid/procurement declarations at or below USD 10,000 or equivalent, truthful and verifiable text references are allowed without a separate fee.
3. Prior written authorization required
- Using Agently marks in product names, company names, or domain names.
- Using Agently logos in marketing materials that may imply official endorsement.
- Using Agently as the primary brand in paid ads, large events, or app stores.
- Claiming or implying Agently/AgentEra official certification, official partnership, or endorsement.
- Using Agently marks in bid/procurement declarations above USD 10,000 or equivalent.
4. Prohibited use
- Implying AgentEra sponsorship, partnership, certification, or endorsement without permission.
- Using confusingly similar names, logos, or brand elements.
- Misleadingly modifying the Agently logo or claiming ownership of Agently marks.
- Making false or unverifiable statements in bid/procurement materials.
5. Open-source license and trademark rights
Open-source software licenses, including Apache 2.0 in the Agently repository, do not grant trademark rights. This page is public notice, not a standalone authorization document.
